What Our Painting Customers Say
Posted on The LittellsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It is very rare today to find the kind of people that go the extra mile and that are exceedingly talented as well. I originally called Dylan to paint a bed that I had ordered online and he was quick to quote the job and I accepted. After it arrived he not only painted the bed he assembled it and relocated two beds for me. This saved me from having to hire a mover. I can’t begin to thank him enough and can’t wait to use him again!Posted on Brandon MaxwellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dylan and the Happy little Paint Co. provides customer service at the highest level you can tell this gentleman loves what he does. Very Chill and knowledgeable Dylan Helped my dad with getting a few apartments repainted and ready to rent in a timely manner and at a reasonable and understandable price. Super rare to get Great work, by a great person, for a great price. He also talked to me about the importance of consistency in all aspects of life. Thank you Dylan for making time for my Dad and the Family business.Posted on Joe SenkovichTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. WHY Hire Happy Little Painting Company and owner Dylan ??? As a demanding contractor who wants the job done correctly timely and on budget, I interviewed a number of them and settled on Dylan . I was going to paint the interior and exterior of my 3600 sq ft home including kitchen cabinets . To make things more challenging my wife and I both work from home. So my choice of a painting contractor was one that had to include him being around us for 2-3 weeks. Well Dylan not only completed that huge job timely and on budget, but while in our home we never noticed him at all. He worked quietly but with the traits of an artist rather than a painter. Our kitchen cabinets were better than new. Our interior was flawless. No wasted product . It looked so good !!! I never found an issue with any of it. He fixed drywall spots better that I could believe leaving the job like it was just built. Then he tackled the exterior which was challenging because it’s a cape cod style home with scallops and rock, as well as dormers . Well it was 90 degrees and he never stopped for anything 8-5 each day Taped everything off and didn’t get a drip on anything !!! Dylan although a young man is a throwback to the old days, he only wants to do it the right way. I am so pleased to say that in this day and age of 1/2 efforts by a lot of workers in the building trades, that a young man like Dylan is there to put the work first and to do it right. I can only conclude by saying big or small Dylan can handle it and will impress you. He is the best painter I have used in my 45 yrs in business . Bravo Dylan you deserve it I will always recommend youPosted on tj laffertyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions about our services and how we can assist you with your renovation needs.
I'm getting new flooring. Should the painting be first?
We are happy to follow your own desired sequencing, but honestly painting is considered a finished trade, and painters should be the last contractors in. Flooring installations, in our experience, cause more damage to fresh paint, especially along floorboards, and often require a lot of touch ups which your flooring contractor will not complete. Part of our everyday process is to protect your floor and surrounding areas from any paint and we would handle your new flooring with that same attention to detail.
What part of my home will you start with first?
Typically, we like to work from the top to the bottom. If you are getting a full repaint, we would start on the top floor and work our way down to the basement. Ceilings usually get painted first, then trim, followed by the walls. However, sequencing is handled per job and we are happy to work with you on what sequencing works best. This can be discussed prior to your job start but is typically done the day of your job kick off.
What kind of paint do you use?
Being a multifaceted painting company we use a variety of products depending on several factors, such as: type of substrate (surface), location, expectations, look etc.
Typically we use only Sherwin-Williams products.
Do we really need to take all our pictures off the wall?
Yes. We ask that you take everything off your walls prior to us arriving on site. You can leave the hook or nail if you plan to hang items back in their original spot. Remove hooks if you want us to fill the hole and paint over it.
Do our curtains and blinds need to be removed?
Yes, everything should be removed from the areas that we are painting. If you need assistance, let us know so we can plan accordingly. We are happy to help for a nominal fee.
